About Artist Kingsley Nebechi

Kingsley is a Nigerian born, Italian raised Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Artist currently residing in North London, UK. Inspired by comics, films and African art, Kingsley is recognised for both his commercial work, gallery work and his 2017 solo exhibition.

Kingsley’s Art reflects an exploration of his culture and surroundings, he draws inspiration from his childhood growing up as a young Nigerian boy in Italy. His parents always remained traditionally African, specifically Nigerian which provided a strong foundation for his identity. The connection to his heritage and upbringing goes hand-in-hand with his creativity and artistic flair. It wouldn’t be possible to have one without the other.
