The region’s ambitious and rapid transformation is propelling MENA into the global spotlight as the go-to place to experience the implementation of technology’s latest trends and innovations.
The conference celebrated MENA’s exciting achievements with an unparalleled speaker roster who provide essential perspectives on the region’s vision to forge a global digital economy with MENA at its heart. Over 400 senior-level, regional and international leaders from operators, governments, global brands, and different economic sectors convened to discuss the socioeconomic impact of the unyielding ambition of adopting new technology and fostering innovation.
Day One addressed how different regional governments and businesses see the application of new technologies, what impact mobile technology has on different sectors of the economy and how these technologies will improve the lives of citizens and strengthen regional economies.
Day Two took a deep-dive into infrastructure, policy and regulatory approaches necessary to drive further innovation and the continued recognition of the region as a leader in forging the global digital economy.
GSMA and Mobile Telecommunications Operators Association Sign MoU at Mobile 360 – MENA
John Giusti, Chief Regulatory Officer, GSMA and Erhun Bas, Secretary-General, Mobile Telecommunications Operators Association (m-TOD) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Mobile 360 Series – MENA in Dubai. The agreement will see both parties explore opportunities to advance awareness of telecommunications issues across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa including workshops and capacity building sessions to help policymakers and regulators keep pace with the latest industry developments.

Mastercard presented a workshop on Digital Identity and the way in which the region’s mobile operators can benefit from positioning themselves at the front line of digital identity.
Intelsat presented a workshop after the event entitled Closer Connections focused on the key trends, challenges, and opportunities in the region.
