GSMA Postpones Mobile 360 Latin America

Español

18 March 2020, London: today the GSMA announced that the Mobile 360 Latin America event in Mexico City, which was scheduled for 2 – 4 June 2020, will be postponed. This action is due to the coronavirus disease and related circumstances beyond the control of GSMA and associated companies.

However, we are pleased to be able to reschedule it for later in the year and dates are now being sorted in the November or December timeframe. The M360 Latin America event is extremely important to the GSMA. By rescheduling, we want to make sure that we are in the best position to be able to deliver results for our members and key stakeholders.

“I would personally like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has been involved in the Mobile 360 Latin America,” said John Hoffman, CEO GSMA Ltd. “Your efforts and collaboration are hugely appreciated, and we look forward to seeing you in Mexico City at the end of 2020 for what I know will be yet another great event in the region.”

The GSMA is proud of the Mobile 360 Series and the fact that it brings the most critical industry discussions directly to various geographies to cultivate regional engagement and advance the impact of mobile technology. With this in mind, plans for future conferences in our Mobile 360 series continue. You can find the full list at www.mobile360series.com/

The GSMA will continue to monitor this situation and evaluate upcoming events against this global situation. We believe a key factor in the success of our events has been convening the industry, governments, ministers, policymakers, operators and industry leaders across the broader ecosystem through a series of events, held all over the world. At this time, we know, however, that large gatherings with international audiences create increased risk. Our sincere thoughts remain with those affected around the world in these trying times.
