Francois is in charge of a multi-country security workstream as part of Orange’s Europe division technology IT and Network (ITN) transformation and Europe business continuity and crisis prevention and management. The ITN transformation consists in introducing cloud technologies and infrastructures to support the future generations of telecommunications networks.

To anticipate the effects on architecture design and on operations requirements coming from regulatory, standardization and certification, Francois is teaming with experts in Bruxelles, in standardization delegations, cooperating with governmental, industry and institutional players.

He is fond of international cooperation for trust in IT and Network operations. He brings with him a wealth of information security experience  in the security of Telco network operations in Europe and Africa.

Before joining Orange’s Technology and Global Innovation, Francois was at Orange’s Group Security Department for ten years where he lead the global security management system activity for the Group security governance and compliance in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Such a management system revealed instrumental for structuring teamworks to continuously improve security maturity and robustness across the company. 

Previously, Francois spent 3 years in the B2B division for VOIP services and security assessment, with 2 years on pre-sales of voice services and M2M innovative mobile data services for Major Accounts, 2 years in Mobile Network engineering services and 2 years in the United States as digital mapping business developer for the mobile operators industry.

Francois lectures at University of Limoges and others institutions, and sits at the French National Commission for Information Security, Data protection and Privacy, the mirror organization of the ISO/IEC sub-committee 27 (information security techniques). He is one board member of the EBIOS club, a professional association promoting risk management best practice, and holds various certificates such as CISSP, Business Continuity Management Lead Implementer (ISO 22301),  Information security risk manager (ISO/IEC 27005) and information security management system lead auditor and lead implementer (ISO/IEC 27001).
