Caroline Mbugua is a Technology/Telecoms expert with over 10 years’ experience and a passion for Africa.
She is an agile Public Policy and stakeholder engagement professional currently working at Safaricom PLC. Over the years she has implemented a robust stake holder engagement program at Safaricom, which has contributed to shaping the Policy environment through transparent engagements with industry regulatory bodies and Government on relevant ICT issues.
Caroline is responsible for the successful development and implementation of the Child Online Safety program at Safaricom and was instrumental in the development and launch of the WeCare campaign in Kenya, the first of such in Africa.
She holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and is also an Advanced Executive Public Policy alumnus of Strathmore Business School.
