Anna Ekeledo is the Executive Director of AfriLabs; leading the organization to develop programmes for start-ups and innovators, and building partnerships that support innovation hubs and other stakeholders raise high potential entrepreneurs that will stimulate economic growth and social development in Africa.
Her focus at AfriLabs aligns with its vision of an African continent characterized by open collaboration, African made solutions and jobs for all driven by technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Anna is a speaker, trainer, innovation consultant and mentor, Google Launchpad Accelerator Africa for Entrepreneurs. She also an advisor – The eFounders Fellowship: a smart partnership between UNCTAD and the Alibaba Business School (ABS), and she is a member on the Advisory Group on Technology and Creativity under the Nigerian Industrial Policy and Competitiveness Advisory Council set up by the President of Nigeria.
Prior to joining AfriLabs, with an M.Sc. International Marketing Management from Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds, UK, Anna was involved in pioneering various impact driven projects such as the Annual STEM programme for Teenage Girls for the Visiola Foundation, a Pan-African non-profit with a focus on increasing young girls and women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) fields. Anna worked as a certified digital marketing practitioner and trainer – training for organizations such as Wild Fusion Digital Centre, Google and Lagos Business School, Nigeria. She also headed the Nigerian business activities of Ingenico, a French global financial technology company.
Anna is very passionate about leveraging on technology for social impact and inclusion; creating social and economic opportunities for all!
