  • Challenges and Solutions for Carriers in the 5G Era
  • How does the 5G network meet the requirements of various vertical industries?

The rollout of 5G marks a period of burgeoning innovation in our industry. With more than 30 countries already launching a commercial 5G network globally, Eurasian countries such as Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan have also accelerated 5G investment, starting pilots and pre-commercial projects. 5G enables the ICT industry to begin a new cycle of innovation, becoming the foundation for digital economies and an intelligent world.

Discussions at this year’s CTO Workshop will focus on 5G innovations; including global deployments, use cases and network requirements from a diverse range of industries. Speakers in this session will discuss:

  • Unique 5G challenges for operators and potential solutions
  • How to satisfy the requirements of different industries for 5G services; network build and planning strategy
  • The role of regulatory authorities in delivering on the 5G promise and the importance of spectrum

CTO expert speakers will share their experiences through a combination of presentations and a discussion. Key audience takeaways:

  • Learn about network strategy from leading carriers already operating a commercial 5G service
  • Understand 5G network simplification models to reduce TCO: “Simplified Site, Simplified Architecture, Simplified Protocol, Simplified O&M”
  • Participate in a global experience share of 5G progress to date and the opportunities raised so far
