2019 Mobile 360 Eurasia convened 50% senior level leaders, policymakers, and other international ICT industry leaders impacted by digital transformation to steer the growth of the Digital Economy through 5G.
GSMA Mobile 360 Eurasia celebrated the progress achieved towards the imminent commercial launch of 5G in the region, demonstrating the power of mobile technology to accelerate the digital economy. High-profile speakers discussed strategically important investments in innovative new service offerings and emerging technologies. Key stakeholders debated how the industry can most successfully monetise these new opportunities and overcome challenges to realise the region’s growth ambitions.

Huawei hosted a CTO Workshop prior to Mobile 360 – Eurasia. The discussions focused on 5G innovations, including global deployments, use cases, and network requirements from a diverse range of industries.
Keynote Conference | 8 October
The opening keynotes focused on vertical sector opportunities of 5G and the digital transformation it brings. MTS & Russian Towers were joined by operators from international markets – NTT Docomo, Veon & Digicel Group – who spoke of their experience deploying 5G in their markets.
The next session addressed cybersecurity and digital identity and the role that operators will play with data and privacy in the age of Google and Facebook. In the afternoon, sessions concentrated on specific new operator services with a big focus on the impact operator projects are having in e-commerce, fintech, media and AI/chatbots.
Visa hosted the Future of Payments in MNO Forum which explored synergetic opportunities to revenue growth and client acquisition/attrition improvement.
