Gabriela is managing partner at Overboost, a management company operating in Latin America. Currently, Overboost develops and manages different funds and startup programs such as Kamay Ventures, the first open corporate venture fund in Latin America. Created by Coca-Cola and Arcor, this fund invests in innovation projects throughout the region. Overboost also manages Thinkmovil.com, a private fund with focus in startups within the mobile industry, and Edu4.me, an innovation program that brings entrepreneurs, universities, corporations, investors and public entities together, with the goal of building education solutions, based on the innovative use of technology.

Currently, Gabriela is an investor and adviser to companies such as Extendeal, Blended, Edutest, Viaedu, Workana, Unicorn Games, Gomovil.co, Warner Innovation Hub, N5, among others.

 

She recently launched Kamay Ventures, an open venture capital fund, focused on the Acceleration and Creation of companies programs, with investors from Coca-Cola Argentina and Arcor SAIC, and as a Managing Partner and member of the Project Investment Committee.

 

Previously Gabriela represented DMGT International as Director of Business Development for Latin America for 6 years. The strategy consisted of investing in high quality, sustainable information and media companies and market leaders, both in the B2B and consumer sectors worldwide. Gabriela is a board member in the investments made by DMGT, Overboost, Seagrass and Eastpoint Ventures in the region. She was also a board member of the Foundation Junior Achievement for Argentina and is currently a mentor at Endeavor, worldwide.

 

Previously, she served as Regional General Director for ISI Emerging Markets within Euromoney Institutional Investor since its origins in Latin America. ISI Emerging Markets was a company founded initially by Gabriela in Latin America in 1997 and then sold to Euromoney Institutional Investor.

 

Gabriela is an economist from the Universidad Católica Argentina, after having worked and studied in the United States, Brazil and Chile, she speaks fluent Spanish, English, and Portuguese.

Actualmente, Overboost desarrolla y opera distintos fondos y programas dirigidos a emprendedores tales como Kamay Ventures, el primer fondo de capital abierto en América Latina. Creado por Coca-Cola y Arcor, este fondo invierte en proyectos de innovación en toda la región. Gabriela también representó durante 6 años a DMGT International como Directora de Desarrollo de Negocios para América Latina. La estrategia consistió en invertir en empresas de información y medios de comunicación de alta calidad, sostenibles y líderes en el mercado, tanto en los sectores B2B como de consumo a nivel mundial. Gabriela es miembro de la junta en las inversiones realizadas por DMGT, Overboost, Seagrass y Eastpoint Ventures en la región. También fue miembro de la junta de la Foundation Junior Achievement para Argentina y actualmente es mentora en Endeavor, a nivel mundial.

 

Anteriormente, se desempeñó como Directora General Regional para ISI Emerging Markets dentro de Euromoney Institutional Investor desde sus orígenes en América Latina. ISI Emerging Markets fue una empresa fundada inicialmente por Gabriela en América Latina en 1997 que luego vendida a Euromoney Institutional Investor.
