“The rapid evolution of wireless networking technology offers total transparency in which carriers and shippers can see exactly where their shipments are, anywhere and at any time. Automation and autonomy allows machines to work with each other to complete more logistics tasks in the office, the warehouse, and on the road. Fast, reliable wide area networks like 5G, meanwhile, will allow automation to be extended further into the world. Autonomous vehicles will become increasingly common beyond the four walls of the warehouse where adoption is scaling up today. Their usage in ports, industrial parks, and warehouse yards will eventually give rise to their use on public roads. Autonomy will bring significant benefits to the industry’s workforce too.”

“There is a strong recognition of the opportunities that 5G and the public cloud enable and the benefits of combining low latency, charging for network slices, and complex bundling with elastic infrastructure costs and scalable cloud-based systems. As we enter an era of accelerated growth, innovation, and collaboration with public cloud/software-as-a-service (SaaS) and 5G infrastructures, operators in emerging markets often surpass those in developed markets, getting ahead than their developed competitors in the race to digitalization. APAC as a region stands to benefit from such an explosive impact of 5G and Cloud and it will be great to explore all realms of possibilities of 5G and cloud.”

“Digital Transformation has become one of the key words among telcos. As per post-COVID era, the meaning has become more essential.
