Mobile technology is uniquely positioned to provide and enable tools that allow societies to adapt and become more resilient to the impacts of climate change. These opportunities are becoming increasingly evident. By leveraging mobile and digital assets, digital channels can address the challenges spanning climate mitigation, adaptation and resilience, and in particular help lower GHG emissions by up to 15% In this session, we bring together thought leaders, industry practitioners and project implementors who are focussed on supporting, developing or implementing solutions that contribute to digital and climate twin transition. The session will highlight the opportunities of mobile digital technologies and public-private sector collaborations to support Indonesia’s (and other ASEAN countries) National climate goals, especially on sustainable energy, waste management and natural resource management. This work is supported by the German Development Cooperation.
