The most influential telecommunications leaders from across the region will gather at the GSMA’s prestigious Asia Pacific Policy Leaders Forum on Thursday, 7 September 2023. 

This year’s event will explore policy issues that require active collaboration from policymakers, regulators and the private sector, to shape vibrant and sustainable digital nations in APAC. We will examine the importance of creating a policy and regulatory framework that encourages innovation and investment, for a digitally inclusive and safe society.

Expect insights from experts on the opportunities and risks emerging technologies bring, such as generative AI and post-quantum network computing, and what can be done to mitigate these risks.

Capacity Building training on “Big Data and AI for Impact”

Join us for a free, in-person training session on “Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence for Impact”, available exclusively for Policymakers and Regulators. The one-day course will run at the Westin Josun in Seoul, on Wednesday, 6 September, prior to M360 APAC and the Policy Leaders Forum.

Our expert trainer will share powerful insight-led MBD and AI products and services, regulatory best practices, key components in creating ethical AI by design, and much more. There will also be available follow-up one-to-one mini sessions to ‘ask the expert’.

The GSMA Policy work in Asia Pacific

GSMA Asia Pacific focuses on the promotion and execution of the GSMA’s global programmes and advocacy initiatives at the regional level, as well as managing and delivering regional priorities defined by its members through GSMA governance bodies. We work closely with operators and members in the wider ecosystem through our regional communities and international events including MWC Barcelona and the Mobile 360 Asia Pacific. The teams represent the GSMA’s views and initiatives at regional institutions meetings and events, with offices in Hong Kong and New Delhi.
